Composed of Sufian Ararah (Oud) and Armando Fiore (Percussion), Davide Macaluso ( Clarinet ), and Mohamed Gehmi ( Cello & Bass )Tarhal performs music that emanates from a place of continuous movement, contemplation, and being on the road.

Deeply rooted in Mediterranean heritage, the music composed by the duo evokes a personal journey for each listener, capturing the essence of Tarhal. The performance aims to guide the listeners in the world of south Mediterranean music, introducing from time to time the fundamental “modes” of classical and contemporary Libyan music, through traditional and original compositions.
