Hisham Arish was born in Libya in the city of Qamenis, Libya.
he grew up in a house inclined to arts, poetry, and music. Hisham attempts to play at an early age on his father’s oud at the age of 16. He met the international oud player Naseer Shamma in 2008 and Naseer Shamma was impressed by him and told him that his level as an amateur is better than many musicians in the artistic arena and invited him to Egypt to be one of the students of Bait Al Oud, but he did not have the financial means to go to Egypt. Hisham graduated from the Higher Institute of Music Techniques in Libya and obtained the first rank in his class then he got the support that enabled him to study at Bait Al Oud in Egypt for 3 months in 2012.

His first cultural composition was titled “Dialogue with the Shepherd”, which is specific to an Eastern Province of Libya.
